Our Executive Director

Julia Chambers 

Julia Chambers is very honored to be the new Executive Director of the Gull Wings Children’s Museum. She brings an enthusiastic vision to the Museum in its 25th year, and looks forward to collaborating with the entire Gull Wings community on fun and intriguing new exhibits and programs at the Museum. Previously she gained a wealth of experience at the USC Fisher Gallery, the Getty Museum, and by creating public art and gardens in communities and schools throughout Los Angeles and in cities around the country. Originally from upstate New York, Julia lives in Moorpark with her husband Eddy and three sons: Lucas (11), Kyle (9) and Theo (5).
